Lyse Abbey or Saint Mary's Abbey, Lyse is a now-ruined Cistercian monastery. There’s many nice hiking opportunities in the surrounding areas of the monastery.

Bergen is the largest city on the west-coast of Norway and the second largest city in Norway. Located between 7 mountains in the end of a large fjord, Bergen is a very scenic and beautiful city, filled with a long history that go back a millennium to the Viking age. Bergen is now a modern city with everything you need from shopping, award winning restaurants, classic and modern arts museums, and scenic views from the mountains. Stunning views from all mountains can be reached by hiking, taking the gondola to Ulrik mountain or the funicular up to Floyen. With its 26 degree angled tracks and glass body, going straight up the top of Floyen Mountain. It’s a very scenic and exiting ride for all ages.

Cultural centre with local and international art displays, performance art and music. Also a cafe with outdoor dining overlooking the harbour and beach.

15 June 1843 – 4 September 1907) was a Norwegian composer and pianist. He is widely considered one of the main Romantic era composers, and his music is part of the standard classical repertoire worldwide. His use and development of Norwegian folk music in his own compositions brought the music of Norway to international consciousness, as well as helping to develop a national identity. Visit his home and go to the museum and performance hall for concerts. The area is located in scenic surroundings with a nice cafe with beautiful views.
