Crown Road and St Margarets road are dotted with cafes, restaurants and independent shops, Tesco provides a convenience store with late opening hours and the St Margarets Tavern and The Crown are two excellent pubs with good food.

At the same time, walk down to the river and there are many peaceful walks along the Thames, through parks and past an array of historic houses.
