Food scene

The line on the weekend usually wraps around the building and parking can be hard to find but the ribs are usually really good.

Small place but great food. If you want a gyro with chicken, they call that a chicken sandwitch (still on Pita bread). I get that, hummis, and seasoned potatos/fries.

This is Publix at the new area called Madison Yards (another BeltLine development). There is also Theater and some reasturants over there. The Kroger on the other side of the bridge is okay but has really gone down hill since it was built a few years ago. I prefer the publix now. This area is also just down the street from HomeGrown, one of the breakfast places in the guide book.

Probably my favorite Breakfast place. Usually atleast a 30 minute wait on the weekends but only a few minutes from the house. Chicken and Biscuits with gravy is the best!

This is another breakfast place that comes highly recommended. I've only been there once (Home Grown is just a few minutes down the same road and I usually go there instead) but it was good and lots of people love it.

Another great breakfast place. Like all the others, expect long lines on the weekends.

Sightseeing

This is just a great place to walk while seeing Atlanta. It's basically an 8 foot wide side walk that makes a 26 mile wide circle around the interior of Atlanta. Lots of history and the project isn't complete yet but the East side trail has always been popular and a favorite of mine. Easiest way to get the idea of it is to visit Krog Street Market, then head north on the trail until you get to Ponce City Market, or continue on until you reach Piedmont Park (all three places are in the guide book).

This place has a ton of little reasturaunts and is a good place to start or take a break when walking the belt line. Just south on Krog Street, about two blocks from here, you can walk through the Krog Street tunnel (also in the guide book) or head north and you'll be on the belt line headed towards Ponce City Market (PCM).

This is a neat little market on the BeltLine. You can get also get there via car/uber if you're not up for walking the BeltLine. Or you could start your walk here. Tons of history in this building. Was an eye sore for most of us for decades until it was renovated as part of the BeltLine Project.

Just a nice park, one of the larger ones in Atlanta. Always thing going on there during the summer (concerts, festivals etc...) Accessible via the BeltLine or car/uber/public transportation.

This park is right down the street from the house. It's one of the larger ones in Atlanta and has a fair amount of history. The Atlanta Zoo is located at the south end of the park.
