This iconic Zoo will keep you busy all day long with so much to see. Its hard to know where to start! Animals galore, close up encounters and great shows. Plenty of good food outlets reasonably priced. Take a hat and water and comfortable shoes as you'll be on your feet a lot exploring.

This beach has something for everyone, plenty of beach space, a sea water filled swimming pool, huge play water fountains, parks, BBQ's, close by eateries and a walk that sweeps past the whole coast of beaches.

HQ Zoo is less well known than Aussie Zoo but we love it! It is smaller and easier to get around. Most of the trails through are in shade and you can get up close to the enclosures. Lots of picnic tables are provided throughout so we take our Grandkids there and eat our picnic by the dingos or monkeys. Less commercial than A Zoo though with less displays it would really suit smaller kids and people who do not want to get exhausted by walking all day long!

Mooloolah is a hidden Hinterland gem, tucked away at the bottom of the Maleny hills. A good shopping area with plenty of eateries. It also has many walks and swimming areas to explore. Our favourite walk is through the old Rail track to Landsborough. You enter just pass the IGA in town. Make sure you try the Bakery and we love the Indian and Thai food too! Mooloolah is close to so many interesting towns, beaches, and shopping centres and also has the rail station if you want to zip to Brisbane.

The headland boasts many beaches all with their particular flavour, Kings Beach for families, Shelly Beach for rockpools, Moffat beach for glorious sand and shallow pools, Bulcock beach for being close to eateries and shops. And theres a ton more too! The town has one main St with some interesting shops and a great weekly Sunday market. You won't regret a visit here!

And theres a ton more too! The town has one main St with some interesting shops and a great weekly Sunday market. You won't regret a visit here!

We love this recently opened cafe/store in Eudlo. Spacious air con interior with great decor and great food, they are famous for their pies which are well worth trying. It also sells some unique gifts and food items.
