Parks & Nature
A beautifully laid out garden and park surrounding the iconic Anderson House. Initially a family home it was gifted to the people of Invercargill and used as an Art Gallery until recently when it was closed for earthquake strengthening. A newly formed trust is taking over the management of the House and Park and we hope to see great things happening there in the near future.

Right in the middle of Invercargill this is a great place to just spend a day as there is something for everyone. The rose gardens are spectacular in the summer and the rhododendrons in the spring, there's a winter garden, tropical house, aviary and mini zoo. A golf course runs through the park flanked by an exercise track. In the middle is the Cheeky Llama Cafe right next to the children's playground.
