Fantastic pub, good pub grub, nice wines and lots going on. Recommend the Tuesday evening pub quiz! Family friendly (they also host bring your own baby lunchtime pub quizzes monthly, as well as regular baby classes in the mornings). They also have a great beer garden for sunny afternoons, and are a good place to watch large sporting events.

Battersea Park is one of the most beautiful and romantic parks in London. It's got everything - tranquil walks, lots of activities, the river, the bridges, the redeveloped power station area. There's even pitch n putt, Go Ape and a small zoo. An easy walk from Battersea Park Station (direct from Streatham Common in 15mins).

An easy walk from Battersea Park Station (direct from Streatham Common in 15mins).

The house is located in Streatham Vale, which has lots of convenient amenities, including a Co-op, Lidl, an independent wine shop, bakery and a number of other independent businesses. Streatham Common Station provides access all over London, while the shops, restaurants, bars abd transport links of Streatham and Streatham Hill can be accessed by foot, bus or train.

Streatham Common Station provides access all over London, while the shops, restaurants, bars abd transport links of Streatham and Streatham Hill can be accessed by foot, bus or train.
Balham is a 4 minute train journey with trains every 10-20mins. A vast array of shops, pubs, bars and restaurants can be found. For a good Sunday roast, try the Cyclist.

It also has Northcote Road, packed full of sought after shops, bars and restaurants, as well as Clapham Old Town with it's Picture House cinema, theatre, and selection of eateries (including a great gelato house!). If you have children, why not try Mud Club at the Spinney (feel free to message us for more information).

Parking is free on Sunday Mornings in Kensington
Fancy Hyde Park, the Science Museum or Natural History Museum? If you have a car you can park for free on Sundays until 1pm and explore Kensington.

If you're looking for a rooftop bar with a view and no queue, try out Citizen M at Tower Hill. Take the elevator to the 7th floor and admire the views over Tower of London and the City skyline.

Skip the tube
You can take Uber Boat up the Thames from Battersea Power Station into the City, or from the City back to the South West. You can also take it all the way to Greenwich. A great alternative to the busy tube or train.
