It's always great to spend an afternoon in the zoo. Artis Zoo is just around the corner from the apartment. You can visit the adjoining restaurant 'Plantage' without needing to buy an entrance ticket.

The most beautiful museum of Amsterdam in my opinion. Wonderful 17th century paintings by Rembrandt and other famous Dutch painters. I advise you not to leave Amsterdam without a visit.

You cannot stay in this area without tasting at least one of the special beers brewed by the IJ Brewery, located next to the mill 2 minutes from the apartment. Great atmosphere, open from 3 till 8pm!
