Activities are available for children and for those tall enough, a tour round the lighthouse itself will give fantastic views from the top. Walk along the coast to see the beach huts and watch the fishermen bring in their lobster pots.

This small but beautiful castle was one of Henry VIII's finest coastal forts built to defend the country from invasion from France and the Holy Roman Empire. Definitely worth a visit.
