Apparently the best burrito in the nation. We love it. We recommend calling in advance if you’re planning on taking out. If you go eat there, be prepared for a bit of a line. We love the burritos “dorado” (grilled). If you’re taking out, make sure to ask for the salsa on top of the chips.

Great pizza, and a fun space to sit outside and watch the Mission walk by. Delfina Pizzeria also has great pizza, but much longer waits and the sidewalk seating is not nearly as enjoyable. Farina has spacious seating, heaters, tons of room.

We LOVE heirloom for a nice, cosy dinner with good food. Not really for getting glammed up, but a nice night to have good conversation and consistent food.

huge lines, an institution, pastries & baked goods are the stuff of legend (though there are other places that we think compare well). A new tartine has opened on 18th and Alabama, the lines are a little less crazy there and you get to go next door to see great ceramics at Heath.
