An impressive decor, waitstaff and food to die for that could literally contend with another fine dining restaurant in the Dallas fort worth, or Seattle area for that matter. It's one of our favorites. Open 5-10pm

4 stars on Yelp. Bbq, Steakhouse & American food. We like this place but we lie the Mesquite Pit in Weathford much better. This one in Mineral Wells still allows smoking indoors at the bar... and although the restaurant side is adjacent of the "bar area" well..... so we recommend take out if you're not a smoker. Otherwise Weatherford Pit is excellent! (Open11am-9:30)

Shep's Place is another favorite. You cannot go wrong with their menu! The wait staff is excellent and they have live outdoor music (seasonally). Indoor, outdoor and open window seating. We take all of our out of town guests here! Open 11am-10pm (closed Mondays). If you have a thing or nestalgia you'll love Shep's Place which is themed in all things 80'S ...including a heavy Star Wars influence. It's fun!
