Just one mile from the house, Mill Creek Trail Road will lead you to the Mill Creek Trail head. The hiking and scenery are stunning.

Only open in the summertime because the road is so narrow, you can follow it all the way over past the Sapphire mines where you can mine for local sapphires, and down into Phillipsburg. Along the way, you will pass the Skalkaho Falls, a breathtaking waterfall that hits you just as you come around a bend and takes you by surprise. I always take guests there!
