If you are looking for delicious pastries that are also enormous, this is the place to be! Also serves coffee and has a small brunch menu. I can't recommend this place highly enough if you are in the mood for a croissant, donut, or muffin along with a cup of coffee in the morning.

Fun coffee shop in a an old converted garage. Coffee is great, and on a nice day the garage door remains open so you can feel the breeze while working or socializing inside.

Classic hole-in-the-wall bar. Drinks are cheap, they usually play good music and you can play darts if you get there early enough. This place is one or two blocks north of us on High St., and gets absolutely jam-packed by the end of a Saturday night.

A little bit off the beaten path, this is one of the better local breweries around here. Despite being away from the hysteria of High St., this is a very popular place. Great craft beers, awesome atmosphere, and food trucks! Great for taking photos, as well!

You'll need an Uber to get there, but if you like Karaoke this is the best spot around. There are thousands (literally thousands) of songs to choose from, and some of the regulars here are really good! Be sure to bring cash, however - this is a cash bar only!

The Short North Arts District is literally just outside our door. I mean, walk out the front door, turn left and walk until you hit High St. Once there, there are countless art galleries and installations, tons of bars and restaurants as well as Jeni's famous Ice Cream a few blocks north! On a nice night, you will hear and see plenty of musicians putting on free shows on the street-corners, as well.
