The Bakoni Hide-Away, Schoemanskloof

The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

Between a rock and a beautiful space… Tussenklip offers an unique, romantic hideaway experience for two, tucked between two ageless gigantic granite boulders. Nestled amongst the pristine granite outcrops of the Lowveld, almost invisible to the eye, it is a true architectural gem. It has a lounge area, indoor fireplace, patio gas grill, well-equipped kitchen and decks with breathtaking views. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom, as well as a secluded jetted bath, are situated on lower decks.

Tranquil Nelspruit Family Stay (NO Loadshedding)

Load shedding equipped - inverter and battery system. This is a very comfortable, centrally-located family home with an open-plan living space leading out to a large deck, which overlooks a sparkling pool and treetops of the adjacent green belt. The house is best suited for up to 4 adults and their children (maximum 6 guests in total). Because the unit only has 2 ground floor bathrooms, we will not be able to accept booking requests for 6 adults. Strictly no noise and no parties allowed.

Gwenyn is a family holiday home owned by David and Eleanor and Sam. It’s nestled in the Sabie mountains on the site of an old gold mine, in a beautiful spot on the Panorama Route in Mpumulanga and within easy distance of the Kruger National Park. It’s been renovated throughout in an unique style using locally sourced materials and upcycled original furniture. Gwenyn is set on a quiet private estate and guests have full use of the house and large gardens.
