The OsWaldorf Hotel

Comfy, oddball studio that preserves the pre-gentrified bohemian feeling of Troy circa 2005. Lovingly constructed by mysterious artisan Oswaldo who stayed in November 2005 and then disappeared, leaving this gem as part of his local legacy. In the heart of downtown Troy, two doors from TAKK house, sharing the alley with Peck's, blocks from Saturday farmers market, walking distance from RPI. This unit is private but the large kitchen and laundry (green floor) is occasionally accessed by hosts.

Our home was built in the 1830's, and the apartment added in the 1950's. The apartment has a throwback feel. We are an easy walk to restaurants, Flynn's funeral home, the school, and churches. We are minutes from the Washington County Fairgrounds. We are 1/2 an hour from the Saratoga race track, 45 minutes to Lake George, 10 minutes from Willard Mt, and an hour from great Vermont skiing! We have a full kitchen, guests say our beds are super comfy, and we have hi-speed cable and Internet!

Living room has a drop down movie screen, brand-new sofa with chaise and pull out queen sized bed. Galley kitchen is new with a Smeg stove and oven, dishwasher. Bedroom has a queen size adjustable bed, 52 inch TV with wifi and cable. The bathroom has a soaking tub and a walk in shower a vanity with double sinks. Housed behind a unique building that was once a manufacturer of concrete blocks and is still a hardscape retail store located in downtown Bennington called Morse Brick & Block. Enjoy the porch or have a fire in the fire pit. Take a trip to the Bennington Monument and Museum. Close to hiking trails and ski areas.

This space has its own entrance/key and is attached but separate from the main house. Apartment has outstanding Western waterfront views and sunsets. Space is appropriate for 1-3 people and there is parking for 1 car. Guests have their own private apartment but shared outside amenities including patio, firepit, playset, yard, grill, kayaks, paddleboards, canoe, and dock seasonally May-September. Shared outdoor 7-person hot tub.
