With stunning sea views, The Outlook is built into the hillside, access is via steps down from the road (or can be accessed via a steep path). Minutes from the Valley Gardens, on the beach path, close to the town centre; this is a beautiful spot. The Outlook sadly doesn’t lend itself well to those with mobility issues or very young children. Dog friendly.

Nestled on the edge of the Cleveland Way is where you'll find Field View just a short drive to the coastal towns of Saltburn-By-The-Sea and Whitby or the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors with places like Goathland where Heartbeat was filmed, Staithes to name but a few. We are dog friendly. There is a local pub called the Miners Arms just around the corner, or if you prefer the high street is only a short drive where you'll find pubs and cafes, some are also dog friendly so worth checking out.

Upon arrival enjoy a winter walk along the beach and then light the log fire at supper-time. The next morning, sip coffee and watch the winter sun as it rises over the sea. Wrap up warm in hats & scarves and ride the historic lift to the beach below. Enjoy a cosy lunch in a seafront café & browse the menus of restaurants to find the perfect place for your evening meal. Hillfoot Cottage is a cosy and comfortable 350 yr old cottage which began life as a pig sty in the quiet country village of Yearby, near Redcar. Offering peace and tranquility with local walks on your doorstep. Located a short drive to the seaside town of Redcar and Market town of Guisborough, within 1/2 hours drive to the North York Moors National Park and Whitby and within 1 hours drive to the Yorkshire Dales. An abundance of wild birds are to be found in the gardens of our cottage.

This self contained holiday cottage offers a chance to get closer to the workings of a family dairy farm. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, midway between the moors and the coast and just a fifteen minute drive (or slightly longer bus ride) from Whitby. The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!
