The Railway Weigh Office (Cliburn Station)

The Weigh Office is a perfect base to relax, unwind and explore The Lakes & the Eden Valley. The building was once a working part of the Eden Valley Railway and has been fully modernised to provide a unique, compact self-catering holiday accommodation for up to two guests. Heated by an environmentally friendly geothermal ground source heat pump, it offers a lounge, modern kitchen, bathroom, double bed on a mezzanine (accessed via a ladder), private parking and a spacious outside decking area.

The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on with comfortable outdoor seating. Tethera (Cumbrian for 3) is one of 3 brand new apartments in the newly renovated Cumbrian Bank Barn, 'Amma Barn'. This cozy yet spacious bed-sit comfortably sleeps two people and is perfect for a short get away to enjoy the quieter side of the English Lake district, the Westmorland Dales or the Eden Valley. Tethera has a warm and inviting open-plan space with a sofa, wall-mounted TV, King size bed and kitchenette as well as an en-suite with large walk in shower.

Accommodation provided in delightful character house in Morland near Penrith. The Eden Valley is a charming unspolit part of Cumbria but only 20 minutes from Ullswater. Private annexe, with separate entrance, small kitchen, sitting room with TV. Downstairs toilet. Private outside patio with table and chairs. Facilities to cook simple meals. Tea, coffee and milk provided. It is important to note the bedroom is en-suite but with access through the main house.

Situated on the coast to coast route, Shap has many amenities and is a fantastic base to explore the lakes.

The spacious 2 bedrooms will comfortably sleep 4 people who can enjoy the cozy log burner or private walled garden whatever the season. The cottage is a ideal base for adventures into the lakes, attending a wedding at the nearby Askham or Knipe Halls or if you are simply looking for a escape into the country!
