You’ll be charmed by this adorable place to stay. We have created a self contained one bedroom unit as a luxurious bed and breakfast within our 17 th century farmhouse cottage. Observatory House is a converted cold war nuclear bunker. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, bedroom 1 has a king sized bed and a double day bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed. The open plan living area consists of a sitting area, kitchen and dining table, pool & Air hockey table, two bathrooms each with WC, shower and hand basin. Pin coded lock box allows flexible self check-in and out so you can come and go as you please. The hosts live on the first floor and are happy to assist if needed.

Clapper Hay Annex

The Annex provides a completely self contained accommodation with it's own entrance and external keybox, enabling independent access. Fully refurbished self catering accommodation in a conservation area on the edge of Merriott village. Ideal for vacationing, users of the National Cycle path (30) or business users. The property is not suitable for pets. An 'exterior only' CCTV camera is fitted to the main house, to maintain the security on the driveway approach to the Annex.

Round The Bend which is maintained to a high level sits within the heart of the very quiet village Odcombe. Brympton House which hosts many weddings and events is just over a mile away making us the perfect location. Also neighbouring Odcombe is the lovely village of Montacute which boasts the beautiful National Trust owned Montacute House. The King's Arms pub which is also in Montacute serves great food and real ale.

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Montacute. We are blessed to have the Elizabethan Montacute House of Wolf Hall fame which is considered a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. The house’s long gallery is the longest of its kind in England and displays Tudor and Elizabethan portraits loaned by the National Portrait Gallery.
