Sweet Country Cabin: Sandstone!

Remote and secluded, Sandstone sits on a hill that was the property’s quarry, where the old-timers split the mountain’s sandstone rocks to make the foundation stones for their cellar and house. Their excavation holes are visible from the cabin. We thought that was so cool, so we carved out a place for Sandstone too! This cabin is on a hill: a peaceful piece of WV heaven that will comfortably accommodate up to 4 memory-making guests! Furry friends welcome with $95 pet fee.

This 2500 square foot log home is nestled in the saddle between two peaks on 40 wooded acres. Overlooking the Laurel Creek Valley from the expansive porches or making memories around the fire, there is something here for everyone. The Rose’ Retreat is located on the 50 acre grounds of Lambert Vintage Wines in Weston, WV. Taste, tour and explore! Lambert’s Winery is open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, 11am-5pm on Saturday. Enjoy an evening on the deck overlooking the winery and grounds or venture down to the breezeway and relax by the fireplace. Open floor-plan with Queen bed & futon in living room area.

Beautifully placed cabin in wild & wonderful West Virginia. Secluded in a field with wild life at every corner! This cabin was gutted and remodeled over the past four years.
