This cosy apartment is a short walk from ballyhaise village and 6km from cavan town. There is a regular bus into cavan town. It is a perfect place to stay when exploring tourist attractions in the Midlands or going to a wedding in one of Cavans hotels or just for a quiet break The self contained apartment is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials needed for a self-catering break The hosts are happy to answer any questions about the apartment or the local area. The Nest is a spacious one bedroom apartment nestled in the Cavan countryside. Lovely quiet location, just off the N3 between Belturbet & Teemore, not far from The Slieve Russell, Hotel Kilmore, Cavan Crystal and Farnham Estate. Nearby attractions a short drive away include The Marble Arch Caves, Cuilcagh Boardwalk, Killykeen Forest Park, Erica’s Fairy Forest, Cavan Adventure Centre, Florence Court House, Drumlane Abbey, Castle Saunderson, Lough Oughter and fishing spots to name but a few.

This cosy and comfortable house is located on the same grounds as the host in a quiet and tranquil place just 5 minutes from Cavan town. Perfect location just off the main N3 Dublin road. Only a 4 minute drive from the Hotel Kilmore, 5 minutes from Cavan town/ supermarkets/Cavan Crystal Hotel and 10 mins from Equestrian Centre. There are 2 bedrooms, one king and the other bedroom with a double and single bed. All essential kitchen facilities are provided and a welcome pack upon arrival.

The Skewbald

The skewbald is set on an elevated site on farmland belonging to a private equestrian Property. Our vintage horse lorry has been converted into a cosy luxurious and peaceful space. It enjoys views of rural Fermanagh farmland and Cuilagh mountain. As it is on a private equestrian property it leads to the option of renting a stable and bringing your equine friend to enjoy Fermanagh on Horseback. It is a short distance from many tourist attractions, stairway to heaven, Marble Arch and others.

Detached very small room with bathroom and private entrance in a rural location and would need transport to access the area. Only suitable for 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child. Infants not allowed. 15 minute drive from Cavan town. 10 minutes drive to the closest shop and pub. Includes double bed, microwave, small fridge freezer, small folding table, small George Foreman grill, kettle, hot water, electric heating and Smart TV with Netflix. Bathroom includes walk-in shower, toilet and sink.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Claragh Cottage

A warm welcome awaits you in this newly built cottage located on a working farm overlooking Claragh Lake and within close proximity to many other lakes and rivers with an abundance of fishing opportunities. This retreat offers easy access to amenities in Cavan and surrounding counties. Situated 15 minutes from Cavan town and 5 minutes from the quaint village of Redhills, Claragh Cottage provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Mary cottage at Tonylion house Kilnaleck

Mary’s cottage at Tonylion house is cosy 2 bedroom, both with en-suite, Kitchen and beautiful sunroom looking out over beautiful mature gardens. Outdoor table and chairs. It’s all electric heating. For very hot days there is Air conditioning in the cottage. Wi-Fi and Netflix, sky Tv on 55 inch screen. The cottage is also run on solar power during the day. * For guests attention: for extra guests ( not stated in booking) will be extra charge *

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
