Very well equipped & an ideal base for rest & activities. Just a few mins walk to Castle Menzies, the Ailean Chraggan bar restaurant, fantastic walks, River Tay, forest tracks etc. 2 min drive/easy 20 min walk to Aberfeldy for shops, fuel, cafes, food. 5-star, helpful (but v unobtrusive) host!

Wee Blue Dream is a simple, comfortable small cabin with amazing views of the Black Castle and Ben Vrackie, Pitlochry, Scotland. A great escape for 1-3 people, especially for outdoor activities or simply relaxing at the fire pit with a glass of red wine. Lucy, our akita collie cross, welcomes all friendly dogs FOC. There is a wood-burning stove, double futon sofa/bed and day bed - all bedding provided, and a small kitchen area. There is a private shower room 10 metres away, with dishwasher.

Many outdoor activities are available in the area include bungee, zip park, quad biking and rafting. There are also numerous walks and mountain biking trails so come and explore this beautiful area

This cosy first-floor self-contained apartment is located in central Pitlochry - ideally situated and within walking distance to local shops, restaurants and all public transport services. The cottage is located in Moulin near the award winning Moulin Inn. Pitlochry shops and restaurants, theatre, golf course and mountain walks are close by. One small/med dog welcome.

Writer's Retreat in the heart of Perthshire

'The Howff' is a refurbished farm worker's bothy in a rural location with lots of walks and access to beautiful parts of Perthshire. One hour's drive from Edinburgh, 20 mins Dundee or Perth. This authentic bothy contains one room with single bed, wood burning stove, mini kitchen unit with fridge, oven, portable hob and kettle, separate shower room, wc, basin. Linen and towels included. Although small, The Howff is warm and cosy and makes a perfect retreat. Please note for ONE only.

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. There is a spacious super kingsize (or twin) bedroom, spectacular living space, modern kitchen & shower room, private entrance, parking & outside seating area. Note location of the house as detailed in 'house rules' (4wd recommended for winter)
