Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

It is ideally placed for exploring the area around Stow on the Wold and Chipping Camden, as well as being within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon and Oxford. Recently renovated, it provides a stylish and cosy escape for two. An entrance hall leads to high-ceilinged rooms - a large and light sitting/dining room, kitchenette, shower room and lovely double bedroom.

Relaxing retreat on the edge of the Cotswolds

The house is situated 10 minutes away from Moreton In Marsh, a beautiful cotswolds town with great train links to London, as well as being close to Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace). The village has a great pub which is 1/2 a mile down a single track lane from the studio. Guests will be welcomed by either myself, Jo or Ken. Fox Cottage - Paxford/ Blockley

Fox Cottage is a south facing single storey barn conversion, set amidst the open fields and paddocks of the Cotswolds. The sofa bed fee is charged if the sofa bed needs to be used if there is only one person in the main bedroom and it is required by another guest. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF DIRECTIONS. 2 Nights minimum stay (except Bank holidays where a minimum of 3 nights is required, depends on the length of the bank holiday and/or at the owner's discretion.
