A 4 bedroomed bright detached house for 8 people. It is situated at the top of Teignmouth town, in a quiet cul de sac next to country lanes and fields. The house has modern furnishings, mesh wifi throughout, fibre broadband and multiple televisions. The beach and town centre are a 20 minute walk away or a 5 minute drive in the car. The countryside is on our doorstep and you can take beautiful country walks where you can see stunning views of Teignmouth, Dawlish and Exmouth in the distance.

Teignmouth boasts 2 beaches (a sea beach and a river beach) and is a short ferry ride to Shaldon and it's pretty town and beaches.

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

Close to Torbay, and Dartmoor National Park, by car 15 minutes to Torquay, 20 minutes to Exeter and 30 minutes to Dartmouth. 2 hours 30 minutes to London by train. The property is in a ideal location, only 3 mins walk to the town centre, 10 mins walk to the sea front, 7 mins walk to Teignmouth Train Station, 15 mins walk to Shaldon. We are Dog friendly but pets cannot be left unattended in the property.
