Recently transformed from a horse barn, Kayak Cottage now bears little resemblance to its former use - the hosts managed to retain the former barn's rustic charm while completely redesigning the structure. An eclectic mix of materials were re-purposed to create the welcoming space - both inside and out. Located on a rise above the Collins River - the river is not immediately visible but is only steps away! There is also easy access for launching kayaks or small fishing boats on the property.

Welcome to our charming log cabin Horseshoe Ridge! It was lovingly created using unique elements - Timbers and lumber from a turn-of-the -century dairy barn, and lumber milled from trees where the cabin now stands! Dramatic wall of windows facing into the forest valley below, and soaring ceilings of Colorado blue spruce. Horseshoe Ridge is situated on 10 wooded acres, and owner lives on property. There are three bedrooms and two full baths, both of which feature luxurious towel warmers.

Serenity and seclusion awaits you at Busha's Barn. The nicely appointed studio has everything you need to enjoy your visit. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, convection/microwave, two eye burner, coffee pot, toaster. Relax on the couch and watch tv or take a nap in the comfortable queen size bed. Built in the late 1940's as a working milk barn, the Milk Barn Cottage is 800 sq. ft of cozy comfort. The cottage is near the foot of Monteagle Mountain in the beautiful Pelham Valley. We are half-way between Nashville and Chattanooga, about 2 miles off exit 127 on I-24. The Caverns is about an 8 minute drive away. Pelham has quaint restaurants to visit plus all of the natural beauty in our area. We are also just 13 miles from Sewanee and the University of the South.
