Good snow conditions, the slopes are not so steep here so its better for the beginners. 40 minutes drive from cabin.

Alpine ski center on a taller mountain. If you find there is bad weather in Røldal, there may be sunshine on Haukelifjell.

A very family friendly ski center but also lots of free ride opportunities. The bottom lies at 860m with the top lift at 1216m. There are 6 lifts and 16 downhill slopes. Longest slope is 3000m. A terrain park with 3 big jumps and 6 rails. There is also a free slope for children with ski and/or sledges, with a 80m long autowalk (flat escalator) to the top. Skirental, cafè and afterski with various events and entertainment. Located 250m from the cabin.
