1 hour 20 minute drive. Easy. Very accessible off of Hwy 26. This can lead to high foot traffic, but it is worth it. This is where paintings are inspired of the great outdoors.

Just shy of 4 miles, and an elevation gain of 460 feet, this trail is a favorite due to its view of nearby slopes of Mount Hood and the Tom Dick & Harry Mountain. A Recreation Pass is required from May 15th through October 15th ($5 for a day pass, $30 for the year as of November 2020).

An easily accessible hike to a scenic lake that reflects Mt. Hood on sunny days. Distance: 4.4 miles Elevation Gain: 640 feet Difficulty: Easy This wide, well-graded trail heads off from the highway and crosses over ten different footbridges along its path toward pristine alpine waters which stunningly reflect Mt. Hood’s snow-capped peak in fair weather.
