Hogget is the name given to a lamb between weaning and first shearing. It is the time when the meat is at its most tender and flavoursome. The menu has been designed to work with ingredients that are sourced locally at the peak of their season. The kitchen prepares each element from scratch, using techniques that have been around for generations. Techniques that ensure you will see and taste each ingredient and remember your meal, long after you leave the table. The Hogget Kitchen menu is designed to be shared with family and friends. Only 3km south of Warragul, featuring the largest and oldest vineyard/winery in Baw Baw Shire. Farm to plate is their mantra and you know it’s fresh when you can see the farm out the window. All of their own produce or locally sourced from Gippsland. They also have their own vineyard and offer all of their wines on the menu.
