Newton and North Newton offer a pair of disc golf courses. Newton's course is located in Centennial Park, just north of 12th St. on Kansas Avenue. This mostly open course has a wooded perimeter with 9 holes. It was established in 2012. Nearby Thresher National is a 9-hole course that winds through the Bethel College campus. The Bethel course was established by a student initiative in 2014. Admission to both courses is free and open to the public.
