Scenic, romantic ruins of a 13th-century castle, with tearoom and craft shop. Located 4 miles away from the barns on the edge of The Brecon Beacons, great walks and sightseeing.
Beautiful walk up to the castle through a farm which boasts a cafe and small shop. This is a CADW site so free for members.
This spectacular grey-stone fortress dates back to the 13th Century and is noted for it’s awesome views from the craggy hill tops upon which the castle sits. (27 miles from farm)
One of many dramatic castles in the area . This is within walking distance for the more ambitious although a better option might be the 15 minute drive, a shorter walk around the castle area and an hour in the tea rooms! Check out their web site for more detail.

“A house full of gin to buy and taste, but also lovely food from Breakfast to afternoon. You can spend about £15 for a meal and drink here per person. They do have a small deli where you can buy a great range of cheeses and meats. ”

“Formal gardens, lakes and woodland surrounding a huge tropical glasshouse. Located 11 miles away from our barns, book on-line in advance or pay on the day of entry at the gatehouse.”
