The Villa is in a beautiful spot surrounded by vineyards. There was plenty of space for 2 of us (or more with 3 bedrooms) and everything we needed in the kitchen. Two small problems but Julio took care of them immediately. Our only issue is the beds were very hard, squeeky and uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep. The mattresses were either very old or just not good quality. With better beds, this place is 5 star.

Julio was incredibly friendly and kind. He was very understanding and flexible about our travel schedule. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend to anyone we know.

Julio met us and instantly we fell in love with him and this place! The villa is large, very clean, surrounded by vineyards, a 15-minute walk from Quinta da Pacheca. In this place you forget about everything and plunge into a real state of happiness. Fruit in the garden is another nice plus from Julio)

The photos do not do justice to this lovely house. Julio’s place is set in a beautiful spot in the Douro valley. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen has all the appliances you will need to cook a meal. We enjoyed breakfast on the spacious terrace every morning. A barbecue is there and we cooked and enjoyed evening meals while seeing the sun set. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and the air conditioned rooms are a plus. Julio was an enthusiastic host and passionate about his property and wine production. The house has a beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyards where we bbq’d our dinner. Unfortunately, the peacefulness of the location was disturbed by a mass of dogs barking continually through the night. Be sure to bring your own supplies of tea bags and coffee - there is a charge of one euro for each.
