Just a short walk will take you to Waikanae's long sandy beach, the river estuary, cycle tracks and river walks. All day sun in this cosy 60's townhouse. A minute stroll to our beautiful surf beach with a great walking track at the south end. Wander to the local sports clubs, takeaways, TBay Cafe, superettes and local RSA. 5 minutes by car to Pataka Art + Museum and Te Rauparaha Arena. 20 minutes by car to Wgtn and the Ferry Terminal. Wgtn city is compact and an easy walk to great eateries, coffee roasters, craft beer brewery's, boutique wine bars, the Sky Stadium and of course Te Papa.

Cosy caravan amongst the trees

Set within 6 acres of farmland this 1977 caravan with a conservatory is a comfortable spot to get a taste of rural life, while only being 7 minutes away from the heart of Lower Hutt. As local beekeepers, we'll have honey and farm eggs from our chickens ready for you on arrival. This space is ideal for 2-4 but can work for 6 people. We’ve found it works well for families as well as adults. However, many budget savvy adult groups love it as they are happy in a smaller space.

Glamping At Johns Hut, Country Pines

Johns Hut is located in our private manuka and forestry block. It is an idyllic spot with hundreds of acres to explore and with only native birds to join you. There is hot water for you to enjoy for outdoor showers and baths but no electricity and no phone reception, so you can truly relax and unwind. There is a large outdoor fire, self contained kitchen and plenty of beds - all beautifully restored in their rustic form. We would love to host you in our spot of heaven!

Free wifi, cleaning and breakfast. My place is close to a beautiful, sandy and family beach. The house has a large three level deck with plenty of room for families and friends. It is a short walk to great local cafes/restaurants, a bakery and two well stocked dairies. Continental breakfast provisions provided for all guests. Linen, towels and beach towels provided free of charge. Our cleaner sorts the house after the stay and changes all the beds.

Welcome to Waikanae Beach Escape - This bach is the perfect place for a couples getaway or a peaceful spot for a solo traveller. Situated a 5 minute walk back from the beach, and within a walkable (or bike-able!) distance of local eateries you will have plenty to do. In the evenings you can have a night in with the outdoor bath followed by Netflix/Neon and takeaways or enjoy a night out at one of the local eateries!
