Importantly- you must provide your own transport as there is no public transport to Makara from Karori the nearest suburb, some 9.5 kms away. Willowglenn Cottage gives you the best of both worlds. Situated in a wonderful rural setting with expansive views. The two-bedroom, self -contained cottage was built in 2012 so has all the modern amenities you would expect, double glazing, warmth, new fixtures and fittings. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher, microwave and bench top cooker. There is a front-loading washing machine and an outdoor drying area. There is also a BBQ. All linen is provided.

Station Cottage, Khandallah

This is a comfortable self contained one bedroom cottage at the rear of a large garden behind our home. Our villa is well over a century old. The train station is next door and 20 minute on the train takes you to the city and Stadium. There’s a restaurant and a cafe just outside our gate and a 10 minute walk to the village where there is a pub, more cafe/dining options, supermarket and shopping. Walking/hiking up Mt Kau Kau and along the Northern Walkways is right at our doorstep
