Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

The Mews is a self-catering, standalone apartment with 2 bedrooms, close to, but separate from the main house. The Mews accommodates a max of 4 people (in 3 beds), with its own entrance, free parking for up to 3 cars, its own private summerhouse (with heating, lighting and power), and the private use of a section of a courtyard with outside seating. We are one mile from M5 Junc21; but 5 miles to Weston-super-Mare beach, and 10 miles to Bristol airport. Check-in is after 3pm; check-out by 10am.

Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

A peaceful base for coastal walks, countryside escapes and relaxed breaks in North Somerset.

The annex has a private entrance into lounge with stair case going up to lovely bedroom, which has a double bed and single bed plus small en-suite shower room. There is a small kitchenette . We are 20 minutes from Bristol airport, 20 minutes from Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, 50 minutes from Bath. The accommodation is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
