The Tiny (off grid) House on Wai Māhanga Farm

Your Air Conditioned accoms are a small Off Grid Tiny Home. It is situated in Taumārere just out of Kawakawa on SH11 on the way to Paihia on our working Regenerative Farm. Specifically built for couples to enjoy the privacy and beautiful farm views over green paddocks to the Cycleway and Vintage Railway. Our tiny house is intimate, open plan, with a small kitchen incl a double gas stovetop and a wee fridge/freezer. Check out our waterhole, walk with the cows, relax and enjoy! Paihia 17min drive

This recently renovated, spacious studio is the perfect base to explore everything Whangarei Heads has to offer. Sit on kayaks & stand-up paddle are available free of charge. Tidy comfortable cabin just meters from a lovely private beach & walking distance to cafes, fishing club & pizzeria. No road noise, safe swimming, kayaking or trips to the Poor Knights Islands. BASIC cooking only; BBQ, Fridge, plates, cups, glasses, etc. Great eateries near by.

Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

***LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION *** At our farm we have a very clean, tidy & comfortable self contained cabin for couples with a rustic vibe, includes king bed & attached outside bathroom with Kitchenette. If there are more than 2pp book our cute kingfisher caravan set up for 2pp (1 king single and 1 sml single). Ages 6yrs+ is preferred at our property as it is not completely fenced off and there are horses and some driveway vehicles about. Epic horse trail riding & surfing on your doorstep!
