Greytown yurts is luxury accommodation with all the fun and appeal of glamping but with total comfort. There is a ducted heat pump to keep you comfortable all year round. The interior offers a luxurious and calming environment, with beautiful views across our garden. If you need to relax and have a restorative break away then Ti Tree is the place to come. This is an unknown part of the country that has ancient geology and astounding beauty. A guided trip to the river mouth weather permitting and depending on tides is where you will experience 7000 year old Totara Tree stumps . There are amazing rock formations at the mouth of the Kaiwhata river also. Walking options are available and in evening you can relax under the night sky in the spa pool.

White shed, modern rustic

Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.

The Tree House is a perfect, off-the-grid retreat for nature lovers, where you can listen to birdsong, see the sunrise from the deck and hear the river flowing in the valley. Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery serving delicious pizza on Friday evenings. The Tree House is close to a small productive lavender farm, Lavender magic, who sell cut flowers in season, and Mount Holdsworth, where you will be able to access a wide variety of walking tracks.

Large Family house near Castlepoint

This place is a spacious house on a large section 2 Kms inland at Castlepoint on the Wairarapa East Coast. Dogs are fine. To keep the costs down all you need to bring is linen/towels, give the place a clean afterwards and take your rubbish with you ready for the next guest. If you are after fully serviced accommodation then this probably isn't the place for you. If you read the reviews most people have been happy with this arrangement and we have many repeat guests.
