The Garden House - Private, Secluded, & Mt Views!

The Garden House is a cedar cabin on a mountaintop in the Great Northern Catskills. Our house is setback by a long path, on a wooded lot, and very private. It’s a place to slow down, to recharge the mind & body, and indulge in the immense beauty of the mountains. It’s cozy, made for late night cocktails by a real wood burning fireplace, and for slow mornings at the kitchen table. Our area is all-seasons with skiing, hiking, waterfalls, dipping in lakes & rivers, and plenty of fresh mountain air.

Why Kashmir on the lake? in 2004 the house was built by a local husband and wife who were dedicated to having their grandchildren enjoy this special place in the Catskills. The family decided to move south and listed the home to rent occasionally - especially for the music festival Mountain Jam in Hunter . Fraxinus House - Ideal for Windham & Hunter

Scenic country cabin located between Hunter Mountain and Windham Mountain, in the charming hamlet of Maplecrest. Surrounded by trees and the wilderness, it creates an idyllic mountainside escape, private and secluded grounds with only night stars and the sounds of wildlife. The decor is a mix of modern, color, and comfort, with lots of natural wood details. Both ski mountains are only a short 10 mins drive away. This is a great place for a romantic getaway or an outdoor trip in the Catskills.
