Built originally in the late 1800's and renovated by us in 1991, Yoder School became our home. In later years we converted part of the building into this peaceful getaway. Opportunities for outdoor activities abound. Fantastic road cycling with Strava routes start right here! Just a short drive away great mountain biking, hiking, cross country and downhill skiing, and white water rafting are yours to enjoy. Yough Nest Bungalow is in Confluence Pennsylvania and is located directly across from the Youghiogheny River; it is located one block away from The Great Allegheny Passage Bicycle and Hiking Trail. This half of a home rental offers a front deck, a queen bed, a large living area with tv, and bar area with a small kitchenette area. PLEASE BE AWARE if you have allergies or phobias of cats; there are two cats (Rocket and Slash) on the premises that like to visit with and love on guests.

The Turkeyfoot Wisteria is a very convenient first floor apartment located on thel Confluence of the three rivers. The livingroom has two fold down sofas and a flat screen tv. The bedroom has a queen bed. There is a full kitchen and a full bathroom with a tub and shower. Each apartment has a private outdoor table and chairs so you can enjoy the beautiful view. We are very conveniently located to everything in town including the bike trail, and great fishing at your fingertips.

Listen to the frogs sing in the springtime, pick raspberries and blackberries in July, peaches in August, and pears in September, watch birds from the porch swing, relax in the hammock, swap stories around the fire, and gaze up at a starry sky. Our farmhouse is on a quiet, beautiful corner of the Earth and we love being able to share it. It is private and bucolic, but a very short drive to amenities, adventure, and lots of gorgeous outdoor enjoyment.

The Crick House

Our Cabin has become know as "The Crick House". The Crick House is situated about 100 yards from the historic Mill Run Creek. Many people in this area use the slang word "Crick" in place of Creek. This explains why the name Crick House has come to be. The cabin sits at the end of a private driveway surrounded by woods. There is a short path allowing access to the creek or you can sit on the porch and listen to its tranquil sounds.
