"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Wonga has been our beautiful home for the past 7 years and while we are off on an adventure we are offering it for others to enjoy. Built in 1860, it was one of the original homes in the area. Established gardens surround the house. Covering nearly 6000m2, there is plenty of space to walk around with a glass of champagne in hand and enjoy the garden no matter what time of year. The pool area is a delight and will provide many hours of entertainment from November through April.
