Meat Cove Campground (Cabin #1, Bring Own Bedding)

Each camp cabin sleeps 3 people comfortably. Inside each cabin is one double/single bed (with mattress). A table and chairs and 6 foot shaded deck with table outside. The cabins have solar power. (Small lamp and a place to charge small devices. You must also bring all of your own bedding (sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, etc) and all of your own cooking supplies (pots/pans, cups, plates, silverware) These cabins do not have any plumbing or heat. Hot showers and flush toilets are below the cabin

Minutes away from Inverness, Cabot Links & the most beautiful beaches on our island This unit sleeps 4 comfortably but has the option to sleep 1 additional person on the couch if sharing a smaller space is not a concern We’re the perfect last stop when travelling the Cabot Trail from East to the West side of the island & we’re only a short drive to the mainland when leaving or if you prefer to start your Cape Breton adventure travelling up the west coast we are on your way to the Cabot Trail

The Highland Snug Cottage in Cheticamp

Welcome to THE HIGHLAND SNUG: Our newly built cozy cottage offers both tranquility in a lovely, quiet location as well as easy & fast accessibility to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The entrance to the Park is a mere stone's throw away and it only takes 15 minutes by car to the world renowned Skyline Trail. Essential services are nearby. The actual listing address is in the LA PRAIRIE area and not in Grand Etang. This is a glitch on Google Maps that we have no power over to correct.

The old trail cabin.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Moose & Merlin Glamping Cabin

A palace for seasoned campers, glamping for people who are less outdoorsy. Comfy queen bed, a mini wood stove, and a unique vibe built from scratch by a thrifty woman and her carpenter dad. There is electricity. No running water but a draining sink / water provided. No fridge but a cooler and endless ice packs available. No wifi in cabin itself but available a short walk away. There is cell service. An outhouse 25 seconds away. Full bathroom / shower available in separate cabin in main area.

Cabot Trail beach cottage

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this perfectly located cottage in the heart of Cape Breton. Right across the street is a beautiful beach for swimming, bonfires, sunset gazing, and long walks. There are tons of amenities close by. The town of Cheticamp, the world renowned Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park are right outside your door! The views are spectacular, both mountains and ocean. And, Cape Bretons finest bakery is walking distance too!

Cabot Trail Wilderness Cabin | The Canopy

The Canopy is the 2nd largest of the 3 wilderness cabins, and closest to the washrooms, nestled among the forest which leads down to the waterfront. All the cabins sleep two people, with a personal fire pit, bbq, kitchenette, drinking water (although no running water), and all the amenities needed to spend a few nights in nature. The shared outdoor bathroom has been hand crafted with lots of natural light, a composting toilet (i.e. non-flushing), hot water shower and two sinks.

The Bunkie

Located on the Cabot Trail, with beautiful views of the majestic ocean and rolling mountains. Includes kitchen amenities, comfy bed, pellet stove. Compost toilet and spring mountain fed water is provided for drinking, wash up and rinsing (no running water). Full access to the back lake and trails through our forest. Free access to swim, canoe and/or kayak. We are a 2-10 minute drive to ocean, beaches and trails, shops, cafes, pubs, live music, and The Cape Breton National Park.
