The carpenter's cottage is decorated in vintage woodworking and logging tools that have been used for several generations in our family. Rainier has a rich history of logging, lumber and woodworking. Some tools have been found nearby. Enjoy a peaceful country setting with deer, birds, occasional bobcat, squirrels, raccoons, occasional elk, but is a short walk to town. Watch deer munch on apples and relax in the shade as you walk around our 14 acres or enjoy them from your windows.

Bee Haven Bus at the RMR

Come visit the RMR and enjoy the skoolie we call the Bee Haven Bus. Enjoy the sounds of the farm while enjoying a warm campfire. You will have a direct view of the forest, Emus, goats and poultry. When you’re ready to retire for the night step inside the fully equipped bus. St. Helens, this 700 square foot, two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage is a true gem. The house boasts a fully fenced yard, a delightful patio area with a BBQ and a picnic table, and a charming outdoor fire pit for those perfect evenings when conditions allow (No Burn Ban). Mt. St. Helens is 51 miles from the house. Mt. Rainier national park is 83 miles.

Many of our guests are "travelers," medical professionals working on short-term contracts.
