The hut has its own private garden enclosed by traditional drystone walls, where you can enjoy breathtaking views across the surrounding hills – the perfect spot for morning coffee or a quiet evening drink after a day exploring the Peaks.

Within the Derbyshire Dales, 2 miles outside Brailsford village. The newly built shepherd hut is nestled on the edge of a small woodland with spectacular views overlooking fields and woodland. It is in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature and wildlife. The hut includes a double bed, bathroom, shower cubicle and a small kitchen area. With towels and linen provided. Also exclusive use of a tennis court and bikes with the hut, just a short walk away is a private fishing pond for you to enjoy.

There are a handful of local villages - Earl Sterndale, Hollinsclough, Longnor and Hartington that are all relatively close. The perfect place for hikers, bikers, or simply for a relaxing getaway.

The hut has central heating and an en-suite shower bathroom. With the added extra of our delightful copper bath our on the veranda undercover.

The Shepherds Hut is nestled in our walled garden. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, bathroom, mini kitchen and a comfy bed area. The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.
