Orchard Guesthouse

Private, cozy cottage with lots of extras. Wake up after a comfortable night sleep to a breakfast of eggs from our chickens, prepared in a well appointed kitchen. Kitchen, bath & bedroom renovated in 2026. After a day of sightseeing relax on the patio with a glass of wine & dinner prepare on the grill. Close to shopping, restaurants, UPMC Hospital, PSU Altoona, Horseshoe Curve, Canoe Creek, 40 minutes to Penn State University Park, 30 minutes to Blue Knob Ski Resort. 2 miles to I 99 and US 22.

Little Stone Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Originally built as a carriage house in 1820 along with the adjoining stone home and a second stone building originally used as an out kitchen. This rustic cottage has been tastefully modernized and has a queen sized bed, full size refrigerator/freezer, gas range, large screen TV, heat pump that supplies air conditioning and heat, lots of hot water in shower. Shared use of washer/dryer and sauna in adjoining house, outside grille and fire pit.

Just come with your luggage and enjoy your stay. The Cove Guesthouse is located approximately 30 minutes from Blue Knob State Park/Ski Resort as well as Raystown Lake/Trough Creek State Park. We are also about an hour from State College and are in a great location for Penn State Football games if you like to avoid high prices and crowds.

Our house is fully furnished for an extended stay with all the amenities. Our getaway is only a short drive to the following attractions, Raystown Lake, Horse shoe Curve. Flight 93 memorial, and many others.

Little House in the Big Woods

This is a carriage house where you will feel very comfortable in the newly renovated home. It is secluded and peaceful with beautiful wooded views but a quick drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Walking up a set of steps will feel a little like a house in the sky. It overlooks the mountains. There is a beautiful deck to sit outside and enjoy that view and the peace and quiet. There is a fire pit located on the property to continue that cleansing of all stress and worries.
