Hytta ligger 12 km fra handelssenteret Sogndal, 26 km fra Sogndal lufthavn Haukåsen og 23 km fra Sogndal skisenter Hodlekve. Fra Sogndal(12km) og Leikanger(7km) går det hurtigbåt daglig til og fra Bergen.

Bad finn ein i anekset samt eit ekstra soverom ved behov. Badet på anekset er innreia med toalett, vask og dusj med 50L varmtvannstank. Kjøkkenet er modernisert og veldig praktisk, med både keramisk koketopp og oppvaskemaskin. Det er parkering ved vegen, også er det ein liten sti å gå opp til hytta.
