40 Acre Escalante Canyon Retreat

This river front home tucked in between large cottonwood shade trees with views on all sides of the Escalante Canyon, meadows, cliffs, and river. Hike from the front door to first class scenic wonders. There are natural wonders right out the front door and within an hour's drive. Look for deer and wild turkey in the meadow in the mornings and evenings and watch the cloud shadows change over the canyon walls. Head up or down the canyon into rugged wilderness, and return home to comfort.

Birch Creek House

The Birch Creek House is a 1900sqft, 3 bed, 3.5 bath house on 160 private acres 5 miles outside of the City of Escalante. The house is steps away from its name sake, the Birch Creek, which cascades down 2 waterfalls before joining with North Creek to form the Escalante River. The land borders Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. In addition to the double waterfall mentioned above, the property also features several pictographs, petroglyphs, cliff dwellings of past inhabitants.

"Bybee's Nest 2", a basement apartment of our home, can be your "home-away-from- home" as you experience the majesty and beauty of Bryce Canyon National Park and other nearby wonders. It's located at the base of Bryce Canyon in the small town of Tropic, Utah just off Scenic Byway 12. The apartment has a designated parking area, a private covered outside entrance, and it's own patio with table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy small town America and the surrounding views.

It is located on the edge of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and is centrally located with easy access to hiking, biking, and exploring. Southwestern Retreat is just a few blocks off Highway 12, an All American Highway, and is located between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park. The house has a living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
