Come barbeque and relax on the patio or take a walk down to the river and enjoy the fire pit.

Recent remodeling included a gourmet kitchen and guest bath. Black Bear Retreat is a perfect location for a family reunion or a peaceful private getaway. A short walk away, Lake Selmac Park has world class fishing. Onsite are 2 RV pads with 50 amp power and water. Convenience store & camping are in walking distance.

Roadside Treehouse

A treehouse that is located just two miles away from I-5 on exit 24. It’s by the roadside so expect cars passing by. Studio type. We only have WiFi extender from our barn so sometimes you can’t get a signal from the treehouse. We’re out in the countryside so there’s no street lights. It’s very dark at night. So if you come after dark please let me know ahead of time so I can tell how to get here specially if you come from I-5 south. The GPS will tell you to turn on our neighbor’s driveway.
