Our homestead, Misty Isle Acres, is our little imperfect oasis, nestled within the beautiful Helderberg hilltowns of Albany county. Our in-law apartment contains a bedroom, full bathroom, and living room with TV (inc. Netflix & Disney+), DVD player, and futon. There is an enclosed porch and deck, complete with tables, chairs, and grill. We also have a large pond and woods to explore. Please note, this is a working homestead; the grass isn't always mowed and sometimes there are animal smells.

Our house is one mile from downtown Saratoga. Our first floor is an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining room and living room all open with high ceilings. The living room opens to a screened in porch overlooking our backyard and pond area. On the back deck we have a five person hot tub. The bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub and a ceiling fan. The owner of this house is an art teacher and his artwork and craftsmanship give character to our house.

Great entertainment space on the first floor. Brand new shower. Walking distance to downtown! On a side note, our garden was featured on This Old House season 43 episode 30. It’s a great season to watch if you want to learn some history and information about our wonderful city of Saratoga!
