Nestled along the shores of a small quiet lake our retreat offers the best of both worlds, tranquil surroundings, and plenty of outdoor fun year round, whether you’re sipping your morning coffee on the deck, listening to the loons, ice fishing or taking your boat out for a cruise. You’ll find this spot to be the ideal escape from the every day. Come slow down breathe deep and enjoy lake life at its most peaceful.

Jack Jr.-a little place in the woods

Jack Jr is tucked away at the edge of the woods up on the hill of the historical city of Newaygo. This space was created to be a getaway from all the hustle bustle with a .5 mile trek (walk/bike/drive) into the town of Newaygo or its many surrounding adventures. Bike or hike the Dragon Trail, visit the Newaygo Brewery or Market 41, fish the Muskegon River or any of the multiple surrounding bodies of water we have. Float the river in the summer or hit the snowmobile trails in the winter.

Cozy cottage with a view of the lake, just 25 minutes north of downtown Grand Rapids. Relax on the 3 season porch and view amazing sunsets from beautiful Big Whitefish Lake, a 550 acre all seasons sports lake. Close to 2 golf courses, Pilgrims Run and Whitefish Lake Golf & Grill. Nearby public boat launch for easy access to fishing and boating is less than a 5 minute drive away. The cottage is not on the lake so the only access to swimming is from your boat. No smoking and no pets please.

A cozy and comfortable cottage nestled on the banks of Big Whitefish lake, that is large enough to host the entire family, *yet cozy enough for an intimate getaway.   Located a short 20 minutes north of Grand Rapids, this cottage is the perfect spot for a summer retreat, or a winter staycation. It comes complete with private lake frontage, dock, and an extensive shallow sandy bottom. Big Whitefish lake is an all seasons, all sports lake that is perfect for any occasion.

Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).

Explore the nearby White Pine Trail or visit Big Rapids just 15 minutes away. Relax with peaceful river views and abundant wildlife. Full bed in the cottage plus additional bed in the bunkhouse. 🐾 Dog-friendly! Dogs must be added to your reservation before booking. Pet fee applies.
