Comox Bay Suite

This is a suite on the top floor of our home. There is a living room with adjacent deck, a bedroom with queen size bed and a well equipped kitchenette with micro, toaster oven, electric frying pan, crock pot, blender, electric kettle and Keurig coffee maker, coffee, tea, cereals. You have a full private bathroom off the hallway right next to the suite. We have a separate entrance. This cozy retreat is located on my family’s century-old farm at the base of the picturesque Beaufort Range. Bright, modern, and surrounded by open fields and forest, it’s especially well suited for longer stays while you hike, explore the valley, and the rugged west coast beyond. Quiet, and secure, the farm offers a peaceful place to return to each evening. Many solo and female travellers find this space particularly welcoming and safe — a calm setting where nature and ease come together.

Welcome to the Lazy J Ranch. We offer a self-contained walkout basement suite that sleeps four comfortably. The suite has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a fully fitted kitchen/living room with a sofa-bed. It has its own patio with table, chairs and barbecue, and a view out over the fields and the forest. Nestled on 13 acres, The Lazy J is home to our alpacas, horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Walk down the trail to watch the animals, and relax beside the creek.

Bradley Guest House

Bowser is a quiet village on the eastern side of Vancouver Island, right on the Salish Sea. Our space is quiet, bright and a 5 minute walk to the local beach. We are pet friendly, and as such, we have our own dog named Sam who is very friendly and quiet. Enjoy a time of rest and relaxation while discovering the many hidden gems that the area has to offer. There is a grocery store, coffee shop, salon and gift shop near by. We look forward to welcoming you to our little piece of paradise.

Our cozy guest cabin is nestled in the forest a five minute walk to the beach & near mountain biking trails. Dine Al fresco on the large patio! Access to the outdoor jacuzzi. Terrycloth robes supplied. Well equipped kitchen includes a full size fridge, convection oven, hotplate, microwave, grinder, coffee maker & outdoor propane BBQ. Indoor shower. Eco friendly Sun-Mar composting toilet in a separate building. There is a wall mounted Monitor (no cable) to connect to your devices.

Clean & bright upper studio suite with kitchen

Bright and airy suite above our garage with view of forest & gardens. The space has a full kitchen, a comfortable bed and couch, all open concept. Enjoy an abundance of natural light from windows and skylights. The space also includes a 3 piece bathroom and a small table and 2 chairs for dining or use as a work station. We are located just outside Parksville in a rural area. This is a great central location for exploring the Island and only 10 minutes from downtown Parksville.

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.
