Brindi Hideaway Although part of the hustle and bustle of Queanbeyan's long established light-industrial precinct, this hidden little gem could be a world away. It offers a private, safe, fully- fenced courtyard with an abundance of plants and a separate entrance, as well as off -street parking. Its location offers views over Canberra, with its backdrop of the Brindabella mountain range, and it is attached to a working Knitwear and Textile Art studio which may be toured by appointment.

Hideaway in Wamboin. 15 minutes to Queanbeyan or Bungendore, close to wineries. Comfortable, private and separate studio unit (donga) with queen bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Tea's and Coffees available. Stargazing on clear nights, peace and quiet. This is a small space that is not suitable for long term rental. Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)

The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. Our generous garden flat is positioned within walking distance of Queanbeyan town centre, and a 20 minute drive to Canberra CBD. Directly adjacent to the showground our very private, spacious, uncluttered, clean flat has 2 private courtyards in which to follow sun /shade and cook a BBQ.
