Private and luxurious self-contained cabin nestled amongst the vines on a 15-acre working vineyard in northern Tasmania. It’s a great halfway point between Devonport and Launceston (35min drive from either) We’re on the Tasting Tail, surrounded by a wealth of produce including truffle, salmon, raspberry, dairy and honey farms. Naivasha Tiny House is the perfect romantic getaway. It is set in a clearing in the Tasmanian bush and has amazing views of the countryside. The tiny home itself has been built entirely of cedar by local artisans. It has been fitted out with antique and reclaimed furnishings with an emphasis on comfort and laid back luxury. The wood fired hot tub is without doubt the highlight. The claw foot bath, indoor wood fire, outdoor fire pit and friendly native wildlife are close seconds.

Wylah Cottage, Deloraine, Secluded Bush Retreat

Nestling in a forest of Peppermint Gums is Wylah Cottage, so named after the Aboriginal word for the Yellow Tailed, Black Cockatoo, which is regularly seen and heard around the property. A secluded, self contained, bush retreat, located close to all the good things Tasmania has to offer. On 55 acres of bushland, teeming with wildlife, yet only 7kms from Deloraine – on the way to Cradle Mountain, and 45 minutes to either the Devonport Ferry, or Launceston Airport.
