Northwinds Beach is one of the most popular beaches in The Blue Mountains, located just past Craig Leith Provincial Park on Highway 26. Just 5 min drive from the cottage ( 2.5 km). A sandy & rocky beach is home to many sea kayakers, board surfers and beach lovers alike.

Family and group amusement park- All Season In the summer there lots of live shows and fireworks to enjoy. There are many stores and restaurants to enjoy. There is also an adult like mini putt and a mountain ridge runner($$) at the base of the hill that are fun. Favourite restaurants are North Winds located with seating over looking Mills pond, serving pub food and more. Firehall pizza co that serves awesome pizzas and much more. Rustys is another good one with many choices of food and beers. In the winter there is skiing and snowboarding and campfires in areas to warm up also there is a Starbucks close to the hill. The plunge (water play land) is open all year and is great fun located at the base of the mountain.
